Merry Christmas from Annemarie & Ron 2014

Dear Family & Friends,

IMG_12562015 is almost at an end and it’s that time of year again when we reach out to all of you for the annual Christmas blog of what has happened throughout the year in the Russo family lives.

Apart from this year been another wonderful year, we have had many joys and sorrows.  This year Ron’s mother Muriel passed away at the age of 80 years.  Muriel lived a great life and spent many years traveling the country and overseas with her beloved husband Tony.  Muriel passed away peacefully on August 31st after a brief battle with breast cancer.  May she rest in peace.  We were able to spend some good quality time with her before she passed away and we celebrated her 80th birthday on May 26th with her youngest son, Anthony Russo, joining us to celebrate her birthday.

On May 23rd, Isabella graduated from Milton High School, thus ending her high school years!  She spent a whole week celebrating with her friends from one graduating party to another.  At the end of the week we held a combined graduation party at one of her good friends home.  Muriel was able to attend both her high school graduation ceremony and the graduation party.

The Russo family spent most of the beginning part of the year going back and forth to the construction site of our new home.  We were able to close and move in on June 5th.  This was a big move and we had tremendous help from Clare & Marco who arrived in the US on the day of our closing.  Which was most helpful and were able to help us move in the same day.  Perfect timing!  Thank you Clare & Marco!

Isabella’s boyfriend Josh Robinson was also a tremendous with the move as Ron and Josh spent a few days loading up a rental truck and moving our belongings both into our new home.

We love our new home and neighbourhood.  This summer was very enjoyable as we were able to meet our new neighbors, hung out at the pool, ride our bikes around and take long afternoon walks around the neighborhood.  There are lots of young families in our neighborhood and Ron and I enjoy visiting with them and watching their little grow up.

When Isabella went off to University in August, Ron & I became empty nesters with 3 dogs!   Isabella now attends the University  of North Georgia as a freshman.  Prior to starting Ron & I helped her move-into her new townhome apartment with 4 other roommates that she went to high school with.  5 girls under one roof!  However, as her townhome was brand new, everything was fresh and clean.  Each girl has their own room, bath and they share a kitchen and common living space together.  They have all settled in nicely and get alone well.

Isabella has now finished her first semester of college with straight “A’s” and is home for the holidays!  We are very proud of her and how well she has adapted to her new life as a college student!

Ron & I were able to take a break away at the beginning of October and spent a week at the beach in Rosemary Beach, Florida.  On December 12th Annemarie opened her new home subdivision called “River’s Edge Milton with the major of Milton commencing the ceremonies.

We are all very grateful to healthy, together as a family for the holidays and look forward to a wonderful happy, healthy and prosperous 2015!

Merry Christmas!
Happy New Year to all and we hope to see friends and family in 2015.

Fondly,
Ron, Annemarie & Isabella.
