Wishing everyone a merry Christmas!

We have had a good year in 2015 – lots of fun and busy times with the girls!

We had a great summer holiday in Gisbourne camping by the beach – always soo relaxing and looking forward to some more of this again this year. Bonnie and Karl ejnoy the yoga sessions too!

Karl had a great snow trip to North West America and Canada in January 15, visiting friends who were recently married in Belligham, WA and also trips to ski resorts Mt. Baker, Revelstoke and Whitewater, plus Victoria, CA to see friends who live there – such a beautiful white wonderland – although unusally warm for Jan!

Molly and Lilly-Anne both had a good year learning at Owhiro Bay school and participated in activities including swimming, music in keyboard and recorder and gymnastics.

Molly wass in year three and is progressing well – she came first in sprinting at the athletics school day.  Lilly-Anne was in year two, and has enjoyed learning writing the most and is doing well in reading too.

Both Molly and Lilly-Anne have done well learning music with dedicated lessons every Sat during term time. Lilly-Anne is developing a talent for keyboard and Molly is playing recorder. They are progressing to reading and playing from notes  fluently. Both Molly and Lilly-Anne have also enjoyed horse riding classes which they so love!

Rose was at her second year at Owhiro Bay Kindergarten and has developed a gentle personality, a good vocabulary, addition and is interested in starting to write her name – She loves waking up early in the morning, having imaginery conversations with her friends and waking her parents up way too early!

The family enjoyed a great mid year ski trip down to Queenstown with John and Marilyn and their boys, and then up to Auckland for Dad’s 80th birthday meeting the rest of the family and rellies.

Bonnie has enjoyed teaching and practicing yoga showing dedication getting up very early to do it and also has enjoyed managing a clinical research trails at her work under Professor Tony Wells. She is looking forwward to a get break xmas break with some sleep ins!

Karl has enjoyed a busy year working with IR on their 5 year Business Transformation (BT) project and will continue with them next year. He is working on the digital registration projects for companies and migrants integrated with MBIE’s online companies and work visa services.

Karl has also been kept busy completing landscaping the outside rear hillside of the house (with a help from a friend!) and is happy with the progress of terraced gardens and decking – still a lot of planting to be done for 2016!
