Ella Menzies – News 2007

“This year I was in Grade 4 at Princes Hill Primary School. My teacher’s name was Sharon; she is a great teacher. In August I went on school camp for 3 days. We went on a giant swing, the flying fox, went on an erosion walk and lots of other outdoor activities. The food was great. I had my birthday while we were there and they made me a huge birthday cake. In October I started swimming in a squad. We swim for one hour every week. I also continued playing violin, flute and netball. I love violin and I am up to Suzuki book 4, which is hard. In December dad and I went on my second orchestra camp. It was really fun and I enjoyed playing with other people. Dad did a funny skit about the 4 Yorkshiremen, for the fun concert.

I am looking forward to our holiday in New Zealand and my new class next year.”

Ella ripped through the year with ease and enthusiam. She represented her school at district and zone sports, was a junior school council rep, swam in squad (nice style), enjoyed netball, learnt some lessons about dealing with friends changing (moods and attitudes).
