Kevin and Teresa’s Melbourne News for 2017
Merry Christmas everyone,
It’s been a good year for us all in Melbourne.
Ella has had a great year being a second year student at Melbourne University studying Science. She has enjoyed new places (Thailand, Vietnam), friends and freedom, developing into a keen skier, socialite, as well as part-time worker (delivering briefs to barristers around the city).
She is still playing netball with the Jellybeans (with many of the same team members since grade 2).
Amelia has very much enjoyed her 2nd year of full time dance and academic studies at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School. We enjoyed beautiful and creative performances from Amelia and her fellow students.
This year Amelia and Teresa have travelled to Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide for Amelia’s dance. Amelia also really enjoyed staying with Karl and Clare in Wellington during her visit to the NZSD.
Both girls use film cameras now – go figure!

Kevin and Teresa are keeping active and busy. We got to see some great bands and singers (Melbourne rocks, Adele…), art shows, light shows, plays and Kevin enjoyed seeing Patti Smith (Horses!), Jen, Courtney…
Kevin visited Auckland a couple of times to see Marie and Jay which he emjoyed and they appreciated his help and company.
We had a welcome visit in January from John and Marilyn, Connor, Aidan and Bryce visited in Jan, which we all enjoyed.
We hope 2017 was kind to you and we wish you peace and joy for Christmas and for 2018.
