Clare, Marco & Joshua’s Highlights 2013

Greetings to you as we head to the end of 2013 – What a year it has been for us.
The year started that Marco had been made redundant from a permanant role and was in temporary positions that dragged on until October this year. Luckily he secured himself another job and now, Marco is the Selections Specialist for new police officers in Wellington and Tasman District.
In April we bought a commercial cleaning business and Clare became the Regional Director for the Hutt Valley and the Wairarapa. After one year on a contract the owner was satisfied with Clare’s performance and offered the opportunity to buy the franchise. The owners made the right decision as Clare met the target for the first 6 months and received a nice bonus.
Besides work we are still living in Korokoro and enjoying the native garden which has been developed over the last 4 years. Still a bit of work to do but that is the challenge for the new year.
Joshua is growing very fast and will be taller than his mother next year! Joshua is doing well at school and is more involved with team sports and really enjoying Softball and touch rugby. Joshua has one more year at Primary School before going to High School at Hutt Valley High.
He has made some new friends this year and received positive comments from his teacher and both Deputy Principal and Principal with how much Joshua has grown in the last year and become self confident and content with school. One of his favourite things to do is the youth club on Friday night with a group of around 40 children.
Marco and I are both gearing up for another holiday overseas to Europe (10 May to 11 June) to firstly see Marcos Dad and to visit my special sisters Alex in Europe and Annemaire in Atlanta, USA on the way home.
Wishing you all are Happy Christmas with your family and friends.
Warmest wishes
Clare, Marco and Joshua
